The Django's Valentine Special
Take your sweetie for a spin back in time, for a taste of Old New York for Valentine’s Day at The Django. Step into the clandestine days of the speakeasy in our Parisian-inspired cavernous club beneath The Roxy Hotel for an evening of sultry jazz, sumptuous cuisine, and of course- free-flowing champagne, starting early at 6:30pm until midnight, enough time to continue your date at home.
The evening begins with a decadent pre-fixe menu; including an aphrodisiac of oysters Rockefeller to set the mood, with a choice of gourmet entrée, and ending in the sinful richness of flourless chocolate cake, with early bird tickets (reservations from 6:30pm – 9pm) at $100, and night owl sittings (reservations from 9:00pm – midnight) at $150.
After a glass or two of bubbly, chanteuse Alita Moses brings her award-winning set of pipes to the stage. Moses has delighted sold out crowds across Europe and brings her sizzling jazz flavor to our guests for a two hour set from 7:00-9:00pm. Three time Emmy award-winner Gregory Generet continues the vibe with his signature re-imagination of the Standard, which is heavy on both vocal flexibility and romance.
If you already have a romantic dinner planned, you and your date can still enjoy a classic cocktail with a twist of jazz before or after your meal, with seating from 6:30 pm to midnight. For those of you joining us for drinks before 9pm, cover is set at $25. For arrivals after that, cover will be $45 (both seatings come with a two drink minimum, not that you’ll need it!) And don’t worry, if you get hungry whilst peeping your neighbor’s pre-fixe meal, you are welcome to indulge in dinner if you’ve changed your mind.
