Despite unprecedented times, music finds a way to persevere. While enduring the second city-wide shutdown, The Django has been committed to keeping their musical family performing.

Through a sponsorship from The Django, Ken Fowser’s Quintet was tapped for a special Saturday evening performance at the iconic Smalls Jazz Club. The nonprofit institution is equipped with live streaming capabilities, and was one of the few venues in NYC allowed to keep the music going virtually. Ken, a regular Friday night performer of both The Django and The Roxy Bar, is bringing a stellar quintet featuring Jeremy Pelt on trumpet, Rick Germanson on piano, Paul Gill on bass, and Willie Jones III on drums.
