The Director of Housekeeping at The Roxy Hotel is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, managing the team, schedules, room assignments, and controlling and maintaining expenses and budgets. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, be a motivating manager, and demonstrate a deep understanding of operating the housekeeping department and meeting the needs of the guest. They must possess knowledge of various types of cleaning methods. For example: carpet extraction, stripping and waxing, carpet care, wood floor care, and other types of flooring. The candidate must also be hands-on in the guest rooms and public spaces to train and motivate the team.
