Resident Roxy DJ and rap legend, Edan, put together a playlist of crisp hits for us to tune into this season. 

Nicknamed the Humble Magnificent, Edan is a multifaceted hip-hop artist with music that pays respect to the greats in old-school rap and ‘60s acid rock. His work is fresh and innovative, music that is eccentric without sacrificing an ounce of funkiness. 

Over the years Edan has established himself internationally with his progressive sound on the microphone along with his skills as a producer. His two studio albums, Primitive Plus (2002) & Beauty and the Beat (2005), have both been hailed as underground cult classics. More recently he has been collaborating with numerous artists including Cut Chemist, Your Old Droog, and Homebody Sandman. In addition, his latest solo single, Strip, released on September 5th. 

Edans sets play homage to the soundtracks that made him the artist he is today, plus — they’re all played on vinyl. Let loose with his Fall favorites and catch him spinning live every Thursday night in Roxy Bar from 10PM – 2AM.
