ANNOUNCING THE ROXY’S ALL-NEW FALL LINEUP

Back to List

Some of the best talent in the city plays at the Roxy Bar, where you can experience live piano and entertainment every day. We are thrilled to announce the all-new fall lineup at The Roxy Bar. Drummer and percussionist Bill Dobrow will take the stage on Wednesdays from 8pm. When performing at The Roxy, Bill’s ensembles are distilled from his musical collaborations in jazz improvisation and the crafting of music for singers in an array of styles. The lineup, which evolves steadily, draws from a rich pool of local and international talent. Recent guest appearances include Henry Butler, Valerie June, Miho Hatori of Cibo Matto, Anthony Wilson, Vinicius Cantuaria, and Alexia Bomtempo…backed by world-class musicians such as Al Street, Clark Gayton, John Sneider, Paul Gill, Jesse Murphy, Guilherme Monteiro, Helio Alves, and others. Singer, songwriter and pianist Jon Regen will perform a jazz and blues set on Thursdays at 8pm and solo piano on Sundays and Mondays from 6pm. A protégé of the legendary pianist Kenny Barron, Jon Regen began his career as a sympathetic sideman to renowned jazz artists like Kyle Eastwood and Little Jimmy Scott. Jon has since released a series of critically acclaimed instrumental jazz recordings. Fridays and Saturdays will feature rotating special acts such as pianist Akiko Tsuruga, Vocalist Dandy Wellington, Trumpeter Bruce Harris, DJ Edan, and DJ Alix Brown. Justin Dean Thomas and Radio Rahill will be spinning vinyl on Saturdays. Sundays will feature back to back live jazz from 12-3PM during our lively weekend brunch buffet. Our Resident Pianist Michael Garin brings together a wild and eclectic musical mélange on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 6pm.

See you in front of the stage!
